Lynn Fergusson leads Fergusson Consulting, collaborating with client teams to clarify missions, drive change, and deliver social impact. Throughout 15 years of experience in social purpose work and a 16-year corporate career with a Fortune Top 10 company, Lynn has guided teams toward focused, accountable results. She consulted in CSR, co-founded a social enterprise B Corp, and taught and mentored future change-makers. Lynn holds an MBA from Schulich and an HBA from Ivey. A long-time volunteer, she’s actively engaged in her community in Burlington, Ontario.

  • B Corp Social Enterprise Co-Founder: Created a certified B Corp, guiding 200+ Canadian nonprofits and social purpose organizations to deliver social and environmental impact. Co-hosted Impact Conversations, a podcast delivering thought leadership to the sector with over 100 episodes.

  • Educator and Mentor: Taught 400+ undergraduates at McMaster's DeGroote School of Business in Strategic Philanthropy & Leadership, deepening their understanding of philanthropy and systemic issues. Through funding from Warren Buffett’s sister, Doris, students experienced community grantmaking, applying an equity lens. Taught Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability in the MBA program, using the case-study method. Judged DeGroote MBAs for Impact Case Competition.

  • Corporate Volunteer Leadership: Transformed GE Canada’s volunteer and donations program, developing a national infrastructure and business unit accountability system to enhance employee engagement.

  • National Executive Leadership: Led corporate initiatives Six Sigma Quality and Cross-Selling, on GE Canada's National Executive, driving innovation and collaboration across business units and representing the organization externally.

  • Growth and Integration Success: Exceeded growth targets in GE Healthcare’s $60 million services line while leading the integration of a $60 million Canadian acquisition.

  • Chief Compliance Officer, GE Money Canada: Established a culture of integrity as the inaugural Chief Compliance Officer, achieving global compliance certification.

  • Board Chair, Habitat for Humanity: Strengthened governance, strategic alignment, and mission focus at Habitat for Humanity Halton Mississauga Dufferin, partnering with the CEO to enhance organizational stability and social impact.
